Let’s Talk about Disability

Let’s get frank about disability, and the language, politics and culture around disability. Are there questions you’ve always wanted to ask? Things you’d like to understand first hand from disabled and neurodivergent dance artists? Hands on questions about how access really works on a day to day level, and what it entails? What it really means to work with disabled dance artists, or have disabled dancers in your venue or organisation?

A free day-long workshop and discussion led by Croí Glan’s veteran disabled/neurodivergent dance practitioners Bobbi Byrne, Tara Brandel, Rachel Paul and Oran Leong, creating a safe and fun space to demystify the fabulous world of integrated/disabled dance.

This free professional development training day is part of a national series of 5 free disabled-led professional training opportunities led by Croí Glan in 2025 (in Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Galway and online). Funded by AC Arts Grant Fund to CG for 2025, and supported by DCFC, Dance Ireland, Irish Aerial Creation Space, Dance Limerick and Galway Dance.
