Galway Dance Studio, Unit #26 Terryland House, Galway

Join Us! We’re hosting an Open Studio on Sunday March 8th.

Aneta Dortová will host Open Studio session at Galway Dance. This is a two-hour window of time and space, facilitated and held so that you have the option to:

  • Take part in an open-level (all levels welcome) session run by Aneta 1–2:30pm. We will warm up, mobilise, exercise, improvise, maybe even learn or create a simple short phrase together. We will finish with a stretch and reflection. Bring paper and a pen.
  • Use the studio space for your own practice.
  • Use the space for a short rehearsal time of something you may be working on.
  • All of the above and more!

Following the movement session, the last half hour offers a chance to stay for tea/coffee and conversation, connecting with like-minded artists in an informal setting.

Open Studio is free to attend and open to artists with a movement practice and beyond. We also warmly welcome artists from all disciplines who are curious about cross-disciplinary exchange and moving together.

If you feel nervous about moving, are new to dancing with others, or feel apprehensive about meeting new people, this space is especially for you.
