Join Us! We’re hosting an Open Studio on Sunday July 13th.
After the success of our Open Studio events last year, we’re once again opening the doors of the Galway Dance studio for another Open Studio for dancers, movers and anyone with a physical movement practice, hosted by Rachel Sheil.
The two hour Open Studio will start with an hour of movement for all levels of dance experience. Rachel will lead a gentle warm up and mobilising session based on Contemporary Dance principles, and with the nervous system in mind – to bring us into our bodies from the stressors of the outside world.
After this hour, everyone is welcome to continue moving and using the studio freely, or grab a coffee from the surrounding coffee shops and speak with other artists during the final hour. Rachel can offer prompts for conversation to get to know each other, or you can chat with whatever rhythm suits you best.
The Open Studio is free of charge. No need to RSVP or register in advance, just show up on the day!
